Okay, here it is... the answer, the truth, the way, the meaning... whatever you want to call it... these are the 3 things everyone will know and understand in a nutshell:
God is sovereign, therefore
There is no freewill, therefore
We are all perfect
Put another way:
If God is sovereign there is no freewill and we are all perfect.
So...
God is sovereign
Sovereign defined is complete absolute control.
"The decision is announced by messengers, THE HOLY ONES DECLARE THE VERDICT, SO THAT THE LIVING MAY KNOW THAT THE MOST HIGH IS SOVEREIGN OVER ALL KINGDOMS ON EARTH AND GIVES THEM TO ANYONE HE WISHES AND SETS OVER THEM THE LOWLIEST OF PEOPLE." (Daniel 4:17, NIV)
There is no freewill
"The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, Like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes." (Prov 21:1, NKJV)
"...for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure." (Philippians 2:13)
"DECLARING THE END FROM THE BEGINNING, And from ancient times things that are not yet done, Saying, 'MY COUNSEL SHALL STAND, AND I WILL DO ALL MY PLEASURE.'" (Isaiah 46:10, NKJV)
So much for our political affiliation...
"Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. FOR THERE IS NO POWER BUT OF GOD: THE POWERS THAT BE ARE ORDAINED OF GOD." (Rom 13:1, KJV)
We are all perfect
Not perfect as often translated 'good' but rather God's purpose is fulfilled through good and evil in a perfect plan of which we all play our roles perfectly...
"Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?" (Romans 9:20-21)
"For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made." (Psalm 139:13-14)
"As for God, his way is perfect: The Lord's word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him." (Psalm 18:30)
When it is time and we are able to realize this... there is perfect peace...
"You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you." (Isaiah 26:3)
Honor and Dishonor
He makes some for honor and some for dishonor...
"Does not the potter have power over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for honor and another for dishonor?" (Romans 9:21)
So... whoever you may be... enjoy the ride because it is all going to happen exactly as it must...
Adam and Eve were no less perfect before or after the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. They were doing the same things but they believed they were now in control and it was necessary to cover themselves... thus begins the freewill illusion producing self-condemnation and the judgment of others
We are judged because we do not believe in the sovereignty of God. Sin is simply the lack of this belief. It is life under the Law, under our list of rules, whereby we are unable to release its stranglehold. Either we are in control or God is in control. There is no in-between. Our lives are in His hands. That is all.
