The Plagues of Egypt
WATER TO BLOOD [DEATH]
“…Take thy rod, and stretch out thine hand upon the waters of Egypt, UPON THEIR STREAMS, UPON THEIR RIVERS, and upon their ponds, and upon all their pools of water, that they may become blood; and that there may be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in vessels of wood, and in vessels of stone.” (Exodus 7:19)
“And the fish that is in THE RIVER SHALL DIE, AND THE RIVER SHALL STINK; and the Egyptians shall lothe to drink of the water of the river.” (Exodus 7:18)
Soon the blood of dead men will be no more. The blood will come alive through the LIVING WATER. When Christ was pierced the Water mixed with His BLOOD - HE was resurrected from the DEAD. The WATER and BLOOD comes ALIVE…
Water to Wine [BLOOD OF CHRIST – LIFE!]:
“When the ruler of the feast had tasted the WATER THAT WAS MADE WINE, and knew not whence it was: (but THE SERVANTS WHICH DREW THE WATER KNEW;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom, And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but THOU HAST KEPT THE GOOD WINE UNTIL NOW.” (John 2:9-10)
This will happen for ALL of us, each in his or her own time, on the Great Day of the Feast.
“In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, OUT OF HIS BELLY SHALL FLOW RIVERS OF LIVING WATER.” (John 7:37-38)
Christ is the NEW wine, the NEW Covenant…
We sit in the Temple, declaring ourselves to be a god but the scales will be removed – the light of this world will be no more. The Light of Christ will shine on us.
“Then the fifth angel poured out his bowl ON THE THRONE OF THE BEAST, and HIS KINGDOM BECAME DARKENED; and they gnawed their tongues because of pain…” (Rev 16:10)
FROGS
“…the spirits of devils…” (Rev 16:14)
The unclean spirits with which man has forever dealt will COME OUT! These are the spirits that brought us to this Day. They will be NO MORE…
And I saw three unclean spirits LIKE FROGS…
“and I saw [come] OUT OF THE MOUTH OF THE DRAGON, and OUT OF THE MOUTH OF THE BEAST, and OUT OF THE MOUTH OF THE FALSE PROPHET, three unclean spirits LIKE FROGS…” (Rev 16:13, YLT)
“And I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet, THREE UNCLEAN SPIRITS LIKE FROGS…” (Rev 16:13, NASB)
It is GOD that uses them to gather us ALL…
“For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which GO FORTH UNTO THE KINGS OF THE EARTH AND OF THE WHOLE WORLD, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.” (Rev 16:14)
Like the FROGS of the Egyptian plagues, they get into anything and everything…
“…behold, I will smite all thy borders with frogs: AND THE RIVER SHALL BRING FORTH FROGS abundantly, which shall go up and come INTO THINE HOUSE, and INTO THY BEDCHAMBER, and UPON THY BED, and into the house of thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thine ovens, and into thy kneadingtroughs: And the frogs shall come up both on thee, and upon thy people, and upon all thy servants.” (Exodus 8:2-4)
They are LIKE frogs. These are the frogs, lice, and flies of the Egyptian plagues. We are infested with these spirits. They consume us. We are wrapped up in spiritual Egypt and Babylon…
LICE
“…Aaron stretched out his hand with his rod, and smote the dust of the earth, and it became lice in man, and in beast; all the dust of the land became lice throughout all the land of Egypt.” (Exodus 8:17)
FLIES
“…behold, I will send swarms of flies upon thee, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thy houses: and the houses of the Egyptians shall be full of swarms of flies, and also the ground whereon they are.” (Exodus 8:21)
ALWAYS a division…
“…in which my people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there; to the end thou mayest know that I am the LORD in the midst of the earth. And I WILL PUT A DIVISION BETWEEN MY PEOPLE AND THY PEOPLE…” (Exodus 8:22-23)
Why? Here’s why:
“For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ…” (1 Thessalonians 5:9)
Our future “appointment” is NOT WRATH – mankind will be delivered through judgment/wrath and we will ALL obtain SALVATION! There is a “division” between the “joint-heir” and the BEAST.
PLAGUE ON THE LIVESTOCK
In Scripture we are continually compared to BEASTS. Spiritually, we ALL go through ALL the plagues of spiritual Egypt and we will ALL be delivered from spiritual Egypt…
“And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.” (Matthew 25:33)
“…YOUR DWELLING SHALL BE WITH THE BEASTS of the field, and they shall make you eat grass like oxen. They shall wet you with the dew of heaven…” (Daniel 4:25)
"I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that THEY THEMSELVES ARE BEASTS." (Ecclesiastes 3:18)
“the hand of the LORD will bring A TERRIBLE PLAGUE ON YOUR LIVESTOCK IN THE FIELD—on your horses, donkeys and camels and on your cattle, sheep and goats.” (Exodus 9:3, NIV)
These terrible plagues are the idols ‘of the heart’ that weigh heavy on the BEASTS…
“Bel boweth down, Nebo stoopeth, THEIR IDOLS WERE UPON THE BEASTS, and upon the cattle: your carriages were heavy loaden; THEY ARE A BURDEN TO THE WEARY BEAST. They stoop, they bow down together; THEY COULD NOT DELIVER THE BURDEN, BUT THEMSELVES ARE GONE INTO CAPTIVITY.” (Isaiah 46:1-2)
We are tormented day and night with the worries of this world – ALL the idols – the things we make with our hands – money, cars, houses – treasures of this world – ALL that spiritual Egypt has to offer we crave, lust after and worry about – they are found in the hearts of man…
“Do not follow other gods to serve and worship them; DO NOT AROUSE MY ANGER WITH WHAT YOUR HANDS HAVE MADE. Then I will not harm you.” (Jeremiah 25:6)
“The rest of mankind who were not killed by these plagues STILL DID NOT REPENT OF THE WORK OF THEIR HANDS; THEY DID NOT STOP WORSHIPING demons, and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone and wood—idols that cannot see or hear or walk.” (Rev 9:20)
“Assyria cannot save us; we will not mount warhorses. WE WILL NEVER AGAIN SAY ‘OUR GODS’ TO WHAT OUR OWN HANDS HAVE MADE, for in you the fatherless find compassion.” (Hosea 14:3)
It is IN CHRIST we find our rest…
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I WILL GIVE YOU REST. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For MY YOKE IS EASY, AND MY BURDEN IS LIGHT.” (Matthew 11:28-30)
BOILS – sickness
We the BEAST sit in the Temple and declare ourselves God. The world – the sea of peoples live in [spiritual] Egypt. The religious [of the EARTH], having a form of Godliness, deny His power [freewill illusion] and worship the same BEAST through the IMAGES (of the mind, the heart) and live in Egypt nonetheless through Mystery Babylon. The sores come from the ashes of a furnace, God’s great refining furnace…
“…Take to you handfuls of ashes of the furnace, and let Moses sprinkle it toward the heaven in the sight of Pharaoh.” (Ex 9:8)
“It will become fine dust over the whole land of Egypt, and FESTERING BOILS WILL BREAK OUT on people and animals throughout the land.” (Exodus 9:9)
“…UGLY, FESTERING SORES BROKE OUT on the people who had the mark of the beast and worshiped its image.” (Rev 16:2, NIV)
“Let my people go, so that they may worship me, or this time I WILL SEND THE FULL FORCE OF MY PLAGUES AGAINST YOU…” (Exodus 9:13-14)
Pharaoh as the Satanic influence… the Flesh…
The Red Dragon… The Pharaoh
“And there appeared another wonder in heaven; AND BEHOLD A GREAT RED DRAGON, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.” (Rev 12:3)
“Speak, and say, THUS SAITH THE LORD GOD; BEHOLD, I AM AGAINST THEE, PHARAOH KING OF EGYPT, THE GREAT DRAGON that lieth in the midst of his rivers, WHICH HATH SAID, MY RIVER IS MINE OWN, AND I HAVE MADE IT FOR MYSELF.” (Ezekiel 29:3)
It is our flesh with which we contend…
“But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.” (James 1:14-15)
“…LET MY PEOPLE GO, so that they may worship me…” (Ex 9:13)
“for at this time I WILL SEND ALL MY PLAGUES TO YOUR VERY HEART, and on your servants and on your people, that you may know that there is none like Me in all the earth.” (Ex 9:14)
HAIL
“Therefore, at this time tomorrow I WILL SEND THE WORST HAILSTORM that has ever fallen on Egypt, from the day it was founded till now.” (Exodus 9:18, NIV)
This is the worst hailstorm for you/me individually. Spiritual HAIL is the hard hitting LIVING WATER…
“Then every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. AND GREAT HAIL FROM HEAVEN FELL UPON MEN, each hailstone about the weight of a talent. MEN BLASPHEMED GOD BECAUSE OF THE PLAGUE OF THE HAIL, since that plague was exceedingly great.” (Rev 16:20-21)
The WHEAT was protected and will always be protected…
“And the flax and the barley was smitten: for the barley was in the ear, and the flax was bolled. But THE WHEAT AND THE RIE WERE NOT SMITTEN: for they were not grown up.” (Exodus 9:31-32)
“…while you are pulling the weeds, you may uproot the wheat with them. LET BOTH GROW TOGETHER UNTIL THE HARVEST. At that time I will tell the harvesters: FIRST COLLECT THE WEEDS AND TIE THEM IN BUNDLES TO BE BURNED; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.” (Matthew 13:29-30)
“And THE FLOORS SHALL BE FULL OF WHEAT, and the vats shall overflow with wine and oil. And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, MY GREAT ARMY which I sent among you.” (Joel 2:24-25)
“And Moses stretched forth his rod toward heaven: and the LORD sent THUNDER AND HAIL, and THE FIRE RAN ALONG UPON THE GROUND; and the LORD rained hail upon the land of Egypt. SO THERE WAS HAIL, AND FIRE MINGLED WITH THE HAIL, very grievous…” (Exodus 9:23-24)
LOCUSTS
“And the LORD said unto Moses, STRETCH OUT THINE HAND over the land of Egypt FOR THE LOCUSTS, that they may come up upon the land of Egypt, and eat every herb of the land, even ALL THAT THE HAIL HATH LEFT.” (Exodus 10:12-15)
These are the Locusts, God’s Great Army, and the executors of His Word. They will not break their ranks. Everything will be eaten away until we are made pure…
The calm before the storm…
“And Moses stretched forth his rod over the land of Egypt, and the LORD brought an east wind upon the land all that day, and all that night; and when it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts.” (Exodus 10:13)
“And the locust went up over all the land of Egypt, and rested in all the coasts of Egypt: very grievous were they; BEFORE THEM THERE WERE NO SUCH LOCUSTS as they, NEITHER AFTER THEM shall be such.” (Exodus 10:14)
“For they covered the face of the whole earth, so that THE LAND WAS DARKENED; and they did eat EVERY herb of the land, and ALL the fruit of the trees WHICH THE HAIL HAD LEFT: and THERE REMAINED NOT ANY GREEN THING in the trees, or in the herbs of the field, through all the land of Egypt.” (Exodus 10:15)
“And the LORD turned a mighty strong west wind, which took away the locusts, and cast them into the Red sea; there remained not one locust in all the coasts of Egypt.” (Exodus 10:19)
DARKNESS
“…Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, that there may be DARKNESS OVER THE LAND OF EGYPT, EVEN DARKNESS WHICH MAY BE FELT. And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days: They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days: but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.” (Exodus 10:21-23)
There is darkness... UNTIL the scales are removed:
“…but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.” (Luke 20:18)
“And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, HEARING A VOICE, BUT SEEING NO MAN. And Saul arose from the earth; and WHEN HIS EYES WERE OPENED, HE SAW NO MAN…” (Acts 9:7-8)
“THE SUN WILL NO MORE BE YOUR LIGHT by day, NOR WILL THE BRIGHTNESS OF THE MOON SHINE on you, for THE LORD WILL BE YOUR EVERLASTING LIGHT, and your God will be your glory. Your sun will never set again, and your moon will wane no more; the LORD will be your everlasting light, and your days of sorrow will end.” (Isaiah 60:19-20)
HE is the LIGHT OF THE WORLD! – NOT the sun, the moon, or the stars!
“Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I AM THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” (John 8:12)
But first… the Firstborn of Pharaoh must die…
DEATH
“Thus saith the LORD, ABOUT MIDNIGHT WILL I GO OUT INTO THE MIDST OF EGYPT: And ALL THE FIRSTBORN IN THE LAND OF EGYPT SHALL DIE, from THE FIRST BORN OF PHARAOH THAT SITTETH UPON HIS THRONE, even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts. And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it any more.” (Exodus 11:4-6)
We have left our first Love and returned to spiritual Egypt through the IMAGES of the BEAST – in our heart WE have become our first #1 Love. WE must DIE. Adam, the flesh, must die that the Christ Seed may take root.
THE WILDERNESS
AFTER the children of Israel were delivered from Egypt they wandered in the wilderness for 40 years. AFTER we the BEAST ‘of the SEA’ is delivered (wounded by the Sword) we return to spiritual Egypt in our hearts. We are now the BEAST ‘of the EARTH’ and we serve spiritual Egypt through its IMAGES in our hearts/minds…
They made/worshipped the IMAGE of Egypt…
“even when THEY CAST FOR THEMSELVES AN IMAGE of a calf and said, ‘This is your god, who brought you up out of Egypt,’ or when THEY COMMITTED AWFUL BLASPHEMIES.” (Neh 9:18)
“Now THE PEOPLE BECAME LIKE THOSE WHO COMPLAIN of adversity in the hearing of the LORD; and when the LORD heard it, His anger was kindled, and the fire of the LORD burned among them and consumed some of the outskirts of the camp.” (Numbers 11:1)
In our hearts, we remember (IMAGES) spiritual Egypt…
“WE REMEMBER THE FISH WHICH WE USED TO EAT FREE IN EGYPT, the cucumbers and the melons and the leeks and the onions and the garlic, but NOW OUR APPETITE IS GONE. THERE IS NOTHING AT ALL TO LOOK AT EXCEPT THIS MANNA.” (Numbers 11:5)
“…you shall eat meat; for you have wept in the ears of the LORD, saying, ‘OH THAT SOMEONE WOULD GIVE US MEAT TO EAT! FOR WE WERE WELL-OFF IN EGYPT.’ Therefore the LORD will give you meat and you shall eat. You shall eat, not one day, nor two days, nor five days, nor ten days, nor twenty days, but a whole month, UNTIL IT COMES OUT OF YOUR NOSTRILS AND BECOMES LOATHSOME TO YOU; because you have rejected the LORD who is among you and have wept before Him, saying, ‘WHY DID WE EVER LEAVE EGYPT?’” (Numbers 11:18-20, NASB)
Plague of the Quail
“WHILE THE MEAT WAS STILL BETWEEN THEIR TEETH, BEFORE IT WAS CHEWED, the anger of the LORD was kindled against the people, and the LORD struck the people with a very SEVERE PLAGUE.” (Numbers 11:33)
“…there they buried the people who had been greedy.” (Numbers 11:34)
“THERE WAS NO WATER for the congregation, and they assembled themselves against Moses and Aaron. The people thus contended with Moses and spoke, saying, ‘IF ONLY WE HAD PERISHED when our brothers perished before the LORD! Why then have you brought the LORD’S assembly into this wilderness, for us and our beasts to die here? WHY HAVE YOU MADE US COME UP FROM EGYPT, to bring us in to this wretched place? It is not a place of grain or figs or vines or pomegranates, nor is there water to drink.’” (Num 20:2-5)
“and the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, ‘Take the rod; and you and your brother Aaron assemble the congregation and SPEAK TO THE ROCK BEFORE THEIR EYES, THAT IT MAY YIELD ITS WATER. You shall thus bring forth water for them out of the rock and let the congregation and their beasts drink.’” (Num 20:7-8)
“So Moses took the rod from before the LORD, just as He had commanded him; and Moses and Aaron gathered the assembly before the rock. And he said to them, ‘Listen now, you rebels; shall we bring forth water for you out of this rock?’” (Num 20:9-10)
“Then Moses raised his arm and struck the rock twice with his staff. Water gushed out…” (Num 20:11, NIV)
“But the LORD said to Moses and Aaron, ‘BECAUSE YOU HAVE NOT BELIEVED ME, TO TREAT ME AS HOLY IN THE SIGHT OF THE SONS OF ISRAEL, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.’” (Num 20:12)
“And the LORD said unto him, This is the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, saying, I will give it unto thy seed: I have caused thee to see it with thine eyes, but thou shalt not go over thither. So Moses the servant of the LORD died…” (Deuteronomy 34:4-5)
“BECAUSE OF YOUR GREAT COMPASSION YOU DID NOT ABANDON THEM IN THE WILDERNESS. By day the pillar of cloud did not fail to guide them on their path, nor the pillar of fire by night to shine on the way they were to take. You gave your good Spirit to instruct them. You did not withhold your manna from their mouths, and you gave them water for their thirst. FOR FORTY YEARS YOU SUSTAINED THEM IN THE WILDERNESS; THEY LACKED NOTHING, THEIR CLOTHES DID NOT WEAR OUT NOR DID THEIR FEET BECOME SWOLLEN.” (Nehemiah 9:19-21)
The Flesh must die before we enter the PROMISED LAND…
