If God will be “all in all” how does this trinity thing work? It doesn’t. There never was a “trinity.” Christ didn’t pray to Himself at Gethsemane. When He cried out on the cross, was He talking to himself? What part of God died for us? Thank God there was a part of Him still alive to resurrect the other.
“For even if so be that there are those being termed gods, whether in heaven or on earth, even as there are many gods and many lords, nevertheless for us there is ONE GOD, THE FATHER, OUT OF WHOM ALL IS, and we for Him, and ONE LORD, JESUS CHRIST, THROUGH WHOM ALL IS, and we through Him. But not in all is there this knowledge...” (1 Corinthians 8:5-6, Concordant Literal)
Everything, every person, every creature, and yes, Jesus Christ our Lord comes from God, the Father “out of whom all is.” He is the one, true God. He creates through His Word, Jesus Christ, “through whom all is.”
What is created through Jesus? ALL is created, “...that in the heavens and that on the earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones, or lordships, or sovereignties, or authorities...” (from Colossians 1)
ONE GOD
"For THERE IS ONE GOD..." (1 Timothy 2:5, KJV)
"…I am God, and THERE IS NO OTHER; I AM GOD, and there is none like Me…" (Isaiah 46:9, NKJV)
“...Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.” (Isaiah 44:8, KJV)
Jesus came from God. Through Christ “all is.” Christ is the “Word of God.” When the Father spoke out creation, it was through his Son.
“FOR HE SPOKE, AND IT WAS DONE...”
(Psalm 33:9, NKJV)
All is out of God and all is through Jesus Christ. We know Jesus came out from God:
“...I CAME OUT FROM GOD. I CAME FORTH FROM THE FATHER...” (John 16:27-28, KJV)
He is the “firstborn.” This means he was born. He had a beginning. He is the Son of God. We will be sons of God. This does not mean you and I will be the Lord Jesus Christ, but we will be sons and daughters in the family of God.
“Who is the Image of the invisible God, FIRSTBORN of every creature, for in Him is all created, that in the heavens and that on the earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones, or lordships, or sovereignties, or authorities, all is created through Him and for Him, and He is before all, and all has its cohesion in Him.” (Colossians 1:14-17, Concordant Literal)
It is clear that Jesus was born of God. He came from God. He is the “firstborn.” We are “somewhere down the line.” The creation is through Jesus for Jesus. Jesus holds it together but, again, Jesus was begotten of God:
“...YOU ARE MY SON, TODAY I HAVE BEGOTTEN YOU.” (Psalm 2:7, NKJV)
“...The Amen, the faithful and true Witness, THE BEGINNING OF THE CREATION OF GOD, says this...” (Revelation 3:14, NASB)
"...ALL POWER IS GIVEN UNTO ME in heaven and in earth." (Matthew 28:18, KJV)
The “power” in Christ was “given” to Him. It originates from the Father. Jesus never claimed to be the one, true God. On the contrary, He didn’t even consider Himself “good” but attributed this only to the Father...
“...Jesus said to him, “WHY DO YOU CALL ME GOOD? NO ONE IS GOOD BUT ONE, THAT IS, GOD.” (Mark 10:18, NKJV)
Jesus Christ rules, reigns, and judges for a designated period of time. There is ONE God, the Father, and it is from Him the Son comes. Scripture supports this over and over.
Jesus Christ IS the Word of God.
“...HIS NAME IS CALLED THE WORD OF GOD.” (Revelation 19:13, NKJV)
and continuing, this IS Jesus Christ:
“And THE WORD BECAME FLESH and dwelt among us...” (John 1:14, NKJV)
However,
“NO ONE HAS SEEN GOD AT ANY TIME. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.” (John 1:18, NKJV)
No one has seen God? Hundreds were first hand witnesses of Jesus Christ. He “declared Him” but NO ONE has seen God! When God the Father spoke things into existence, He was speaking through Christ.
Jesus Himself tells us the only true God is God the Father:
“...THAT THEY MAY KNOW YOU, THE ONLY TRUE GOD...” (John 17:3, NASB)
"Now, whenever ALL may be subjected to Him, then the Son Himself also SHALL BE SUBJECTED TO HIM Who subjects all to Him, that GOD may be ALL IN ALL." (1 Corinthians 15:28, CLT)
"...I am going to the Father, for THE FATHER IS GREATER THAN I" (John 14:28).
How is this not clear? The Father is “greater” than Jesus, and ONLY God, the Father, is “good.” Even Christ did not consider himself “good.” The Father is greater than the Lord Jesus Christ; for it is from God that Jesus came. How many of you know that Jesus has a God?
"...THE GOD OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, THE FATHER..." (Ephesians 1:17, KJV)
"Blessed be the GOD AND FATHER OF OUR LORD Jesus Christ…” (Ephesians 1:3, KJV)
"BLESSED BE THE GOD AND FATHER OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST…” (1 Peter 1:3, KJV)
"…thanks to THE GOD AND FATHER OF OUR LORD Jesus Christ…” (Colossians 1:3, NKJV)
“But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever (αἰῶνα τοῦ αἰῶνος): a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.” (Hebrews 1:8, KJV)
He is to be worshipped because He is the Son of God:
“…there came a leper and WORSHIPPED HIM, saying, Lord…” (Mathew 8:2, KJV)
“…a ruler came and WORSHIPED HIM…” (Matthew 9:18, NKJV)
“…WORSHIPED HIM, saying, ‘Truly You are the Son of God.’” (Matthew 14:33, NKJV)
“who, being in the form of God, DID NOT CONSIDER IT ROBBERY TO BE EQUAL WITH GOD…” (Philippians 2:6, NKJV)
Though he comes from God, he does not consider it a crime to be equal with God. Jesus is God, but NOT God the Father. Look at this one:
“I said, “YOU ARE GODS, And all of you are children of the Most High.” (Psalm 82:6, NKJV)
Others were called “gods” by God himself. They were not Jesus Christ but they were given a position of great importance. When he was accused of claiming godhood:
“Jesus answered them, "Is it not written in your Law, 'I HAVE SAID YOU ARE GODS'? IF HE CALLED THEM 'GODS,' to whom the word of God came—and the Scripture cannot be broken— WHAT ABOUT THE ONE WHOM THE FATHER SET APART as his very own and sent into the world? Why then do YOU ACCUSE ME OF BLASPHEMY BECAUSE I SAID, 'I AM GOD'S SON'? Do not believe me unless I do what my Father does. But if I do it, even though you do not believe me, believe the miracles, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father." (John 10:34-38, NIV)
Jesus told us we could know He is the Son of God only if He is doing what his Father does. And how do we get into the Kingdom of God? Who are the sons, daughters, brothers and sisters of Christ? It is the “doers of good.” We are being prepped to be a “son of God.” There is only one God the Father from whom everything comes. Jesus never said He was “the” God, but the Son of God, as “one” with the Father. He is the image of God the Father. There will be more than one son of God. We are all being made into the image of God.
“For WE ARE MEMBERS OF HIS BODY, of His flesh and of His bones. ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.’ This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church.” (Ephesians 5:30-32, NKJV)
Please do not misunderstand. Jesus IS our Lord. He will rule and reign UNTIL all, excepting the Father, is subjected to Him. He is “the Judge” worthy of our praises and honor. He is the Son of God. Do know that those who trust in Him NOW will “rule and reign” WITH him! As Him, As God for He is Of God and all will be/are Of/IN Christ and GOD is/will be ALL in ALL
“...when he appears, WE SHALL BE LIKE HIM...” (1 John 3:2, NIV)
“Moreover, the Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son, that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father...” (John 5:22-23, NIV)
He is in charge, given the keys to life and death, no doubt. But this is us?? Judges in Spirit? Isn’t it interesting that the Father desires the same honor for His Son as Himself? As a matter of fact the Son thought it not robbery to be “equal” with his Father. God the Father put Jesus in authority and gave Him the same honor as Himself. Jesus gives us the same glory that His Father gave him. The Spirit of God will soon unite us all! Look, stare, and meditate on this next verse. There is a world of truths hidden in these words:
“THAT ALL OF THEM MAY BE ONE, FATHER, JUST AS YOU ARE IN ME AND I AM IN YOU. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I HAVE GIVEN THEM THE GLORY THAT YOU GAVE ME, that they may be ONE as we are ONE: I in them and you in me. MAY THEY BE BROUGHT TO COMPLETE UNITY to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.” (John 17:21-23, NIV)
We will have the same “glory” that Jesus has (IN Christ.. Body of)
“...I HAVE GIVEN THEM THE GLORY THAT YOU GAVE ME...”
We are joint-heirs with Christ.
“...and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and JOINT HEIRS WITH CHRIST, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.” (Romans 8:17, NKJV)
What is a “joint-heir?” It is a “co-heir.” It is a position of equality. Jesus thought it not robbery to be “equal” with God, the Father. We will be UNITED with the family, sharing one common vision of the Father. Now do know, as God gave the glory to the Son gave the glory to us DOES not make us God, the Father or Jesus Christ. Co-heirs [with Christ] do hold their unique identity. However, we will be sons and daughters of the Father. We will be brothers and sisters of Jesus Christ. United as “one” we will live.
“if we endure, we will also reign with him...”
(2 Timothy 2:12, NIV)
Judges…
“Do you not know that the saints will judge the world?...” (1 Corinthians 6:2, NIV)
Will the “saints” of this world be torturing people in the fabled hell? Is their purpose, as judge, to stab them with pitchforks? Those “saved” at the first resurrection will rule and reign with Christ and judge the world! ALL WILL RECEIVE THE “SAME” GLORY Jesus was given. We will ALL BE JOINT HEIRS WITH CHRIST and ALL WILL BE LIKE HIM!
It IS and HAS ALWAYS BEEN about family. We will be “one” brought into complete unity! That is our future, our hope. There will be no more fighting, wars, and hatred, as our tears will all be wiped away. The “two” will become “one” flesh. This is marriage (outside the Law) and this is the mystery of Christ.
“This is a profound mystery—but I AM TALKING ABOUT CHRIST AND THE CHURCH.” (Ephesians 5:32, NIV)
“Or know ye not that he that is joined to a harlot is one body? for, The twain, saith he, shall become one flesh. BUT HE THAT IS JOINED UNTO THE LORD IS ONE SPIRIT.” (1 Cor 6:16-17)
"I am the Way and the Truth and the Life. No one is coming to the Father except through Me" (John 14:6).
Buck up and forgive cause we ain’t gettin in till we do.
“Then the master called the servant in. ‘You wicked servant,’ he said, ‘I canceled all that debt of yours because you begged me to. Shouldn’t you have had mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you?’ IN ANGER HIS MASTER HANDED HIM OVER TO THE JAILERS TO BE TORTURED, UNTIL HE SHOULD PAY BACK ALL HE OWED. ‘This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you UNLESS YOU FORGIVE YOUR BROTHER OR SISTER FROM YOUR HEART.’” (Matthew 18:32-35)
“At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.” (John 14:20, NKJV)
The Comforter has come. He is teaching us. He is uniting the family!
"I am going, and I AM COMING TO YOU." (John 14:27)
THE HOLY SPIRIT
“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit...” (Matthew 28:19, NKJV)
Though there is strong evidence that this is NOT part of the original text (also, do a study on 1 John 5:7-8, "additions" are clearly evident), the verse DOES NOT say that these three are one God the Father because they are NOT! God is the “FATHER OF SPIRITS..." (Heb. 12:9), including the 7 Spirits of Revelation 4:5. God alone is the Father.
"...there is ONE God, the FATHER..." (I Cor. 8:6)
The Spirit of God IS the Spirit of Christ IS our Comforter.
“...ye did receive a spirit of adoption in which we cry, `Abba -- Father.' (Romans 8:15, YLT)
“And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.” (Galatians 4:6, KJV)
"I and the Father, We are ONE." (John 10:30, CLT)
They are not one God, but one in Spirit.
“But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, ‘Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for THAT WHICH IS CONCEIVED IN HER IS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.’” (Matthew 1:20)
“...The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you...” (Luke 1:35, NKJV)
The “Highest” is God the Father. Jesus is the Son of the Highest, the Son of God.
“He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest...” (Luke 1:32, NKJV)
“...I drive out demons by the Spirit of God...”
(Matthew 12:28, NIV)
The Spirit of God IS the Holy Spirit, not a separate god. God possesses the Holy Spirit and will freely give:
“...how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?" (Luke 11:13)
“Jesus replied, ‘If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.” (John 14:23, NIV)
This is done through the Holy Spirit...
“And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever” (John 14:16, Amplified Bible)
God possesses and gives of the Holy Spirit. God “gives” the Comforter, translated from the same Greek word used here:
“My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an ADVOCATE with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous” (1 John 2:1, KJV)
Our “advocate” is the Holy Spirit. He IS the Spirit of God IS the Spirit of Christ IS the Spirit we are given to comfort us.
“I WILL NOT LEAVE YOU COMFORTLESS: I WILL COME TO YOU.” (John 14:18, KJV)
“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, WHOM THE FATHER WILL SEND IN MY NAME, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” (John 14:26, KJV)
Both God the Father and Jesus the Son will come, through the Holy Spirit and make their abode in us.
“All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you.” (John 16:15, NKJV)
God takes of the Spirit of Jesus, which is His Spirit and freely gives! “The Holy Spirit” IS “The Spirit of God” IS “the Spirit of Christ” IS “the Spirit in us” and we will never be alone. God is with us. His Son is with us. The Holy Spirit is with us! Loneliness will cease. Life is amazing and God’s plan is the most fantastic you could imagine! There is no better future than what we are gifted.
The “Holy Spirit” IS
“For THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL TEACH YOU in that very hour WHAT YOU OUGHT TO SAY.” (Luke 12:12)
The “Spirit of God, the Father” IS
“for it will not be you speaking, but THE SPIRIT OF YOUR FATHER SPEAKING THROUGH YOU.” (Matt 10:20, NIV)
The “Spirit of Christ” IS
“And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth THE SPIRIT OF HIS SON INTO YOUR HEARTS, CRYING, ABBA, FATHER.” (Galatians 4:6, KJV)
The “Spirit in us”
“...ye did receive A SPIRIT OF ADOPTION IN WHICH WE CRY, `ABBA -- FATHER.'” (Romans 8:15, YLT)
