Isis
Of the greatest importance among Goddesses of Ancient Egypt, she is the wife of Osiris and the mother of Horus the Younger. Isis held the title "weret-hekau," or "great of magic," and was highly evolved in Egyptian priestly magic. She is the source behind the Goddess of modern Paganism. Within the Order of the Golden Dawn she is assigned Praemonstrator of the Three Chiefs. The following G.D. quote depicts a piece of Christianity's Revelation 12:1 wherein many believe the Woman is Israel. Interestingly, Spiritual Israel is the Bride, or New Jerusalem, the Mother of Us All. Isis, the Bride [of Christ, of Osiris, also the Body of Christ/ONE and the Same]...

"And I beheld a great wonder in heaven. A woman clothed with the Sun, with the Moon at her feet, and on her head was the diadem of the Twelve Stars. O thou Queen of Love and Mercy, thou crowned with the Throne, horned as the Moon, whose countenance is mild and glowing, hear me, O Isis, hear and save... Mother, Queen, and Daughter of the Justified One... O Virgin Glory of the Godhead unspeakable, immortal Queen of the Gods... O Isis, thou form of the Holy Spirit... O Mother. O Archetype Eternal of Maternity and Love... the flower of all Mothers... O Soul of Nature, giving life and energy to the Universe. From thee all things do proceed. Unto Thee all must return." (Golden Dawn, Ritual of Transformation)

"And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars..." (Revelation 12:1)

"And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband."(Revelation 21:2)

"But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all." (Galatians 4:26)

"And so all Israel shall be saved..." (Romans 11:26)
