The Day of the Lord
“Woe to you who desire the day of the LORD! Why would you have the day of the LORD? It is darkness, and not light, as if a man fled from a lion, and a bear met him, or went into the house and leaned his hand against the wall, and a serpent bit him. Is not the day of the LORD darkness, and not light, and gloom with no brightness in it?” (Amos 5:18-20)
“I will utterly consume all things from off the land, saith the LORD. I will consume man and beast; I will consume the fowls of the heaven, and the fishes of the sea, and the stumbling blocks with the wicked: and I will cut off man from off the land, saith the LORD.” (Zephaniah 1:2-3) “HOLD THY PEACE AT THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD GOD: FOR THE DAY OF THE LORD IS AT HAND: FOR THE LORD HATH PREPARED A SACRIFICE, HE HATH BID HIS GUESTS. God is King of the Abstract, the Great Poet! Here we have a day, month, hour, and year all representing the same time…

More “thousands” used to represent a LOT!! It is obviously NOT an exact figure...

The DAY OF THE LORD is a dark time… though its fruits are well worth the enduring.

THE 7TH TRUMPET

THE HOUR OF JUDGMENT
“Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for THE HOUR OF HIS JUDGMENT IS COME: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.” (Rev 14:7)
