“EVERY WORD OF GOD IS PURE: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. ADD THOU NOT UNTO HIS WORDS, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.” (Prov 30:5-6)
I WILL RISE!!
“DO NOT GLOAT OVER ME, MY ENEMY! THOUGH I HAVE FALLEN, I WILL RISE. Though I sit in darkness, the LORD will be my light. BECAUSE I HAVE SINNED AGAINST HIM, I WILL BEAR THE LORD’S WRATH, UNTIL HE PLEADS MY CASE AND UPHOLDS MY CAUSE. He will bring me out into the light; I will see his righteousness.” (Micah 7:8-9, NIV)
Their strength is their god… yet GOD will raise them up…
“I AM RAISING UP THE BABYLONIANS, THAT RUTHLESS AND IMPETUOUS PEOPLE, who sweep across the whole earth to seize dwellings not their own. They are a FEARED AND DREADED people; they are A LAW TO THEMSELVES AND PROMOTE THEIR OWN HONOR. Their horses are SWIFTER THAN LEOPARDS, FIERCER THAN WOLVES at dusk. Their cavalry gallops headlong; their horsemen come from afar. They fly like an eagle swooping to devour; they all come INTENT ON VIOLENCE. Their hordes advance like a desert wind and gather prisoners like sand. THEY MOCK KINGS AND SCOFF AT RULERS. THEY LAUGH AT ALL FORTIFIED CITIES…” (Habakkuk 1:6-10)
“Then they sweep past like the wind and go on—GUILTY PEOPLE, WHOSE OWN STRENGTH IS THEIR GOD.” (Habakkuk 1:11)
“LORD, are you not from everlasting? My God, my Holy One, you will never die. YOU, LORD, HAVE APPOINTED THEM TO EXECUTE JUDGMENT; YOU, MY ROCK, HAVE ORDAINED THEM TO PUNISH.” (Habakkuk 1:12)
“YOU HAVE MADE PEOPLE LIKE THE FISH IN THE SEA, LIKE THE SEA CREATURES THAT HAVE NO RULER. THE WICKED FOE PULLS ALL OF THEM UP WITH HOOKS, HE CATCHES THEM IN HIS NET, HE GATHERS THEM UP IN HIS DRAGNET; and so he rejoices and is glad. Therefore he sacrifices to his net and burns incense to his dragnet, for BY HIS NET HE LIVES IN LUXURY AND ENJOYS THE CHOICEST FOOD. Is he to keep on emptying his net, destroying nations without mercy?” (Habakkuk 1:14-17)
The Revelation…
“Then the LORD replied: ‘Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. For the revelation awaits an appointed time; IT SPEAKS OF THE END AND WILL NOT PROVE FALSE. THOUGH IT LINGER, WAIT FOR IT; IT WILL CERTAINLY COME AND WILL NOT DELAY.’” (Habakkuk 2:2-3)
“See, THE ENEMY IS PUFFED UP; his desires are not upright—BUT THE RIGHTEOUS PERSON WILL LIVE BY HIS FAITHFULNESS—indeed, wine betrays him; HE IS ARROGANT AND NEVER AT REST. BECAUSE HE IS AS GREEDY AS THE GRAVE and like DEATH IS NEVER SATISFIED, HE GATHERS TO HIMSELF ALL THE NATIONS AND TAKES CAPTIVE ALL THE PEOPLES.” (Habakkuk 2:4-5)
Rising of the Creditors…
“Will not all of them taunt him with ridicule and scorn, saying, ‘Woe to him who piles up stolen goods and makes himself wealthy by extortion! How long must this go on?’ WILL NOT YOUR CREDITORS SUDDENLY ARISE? Will they not wake up and make you tremble? THEN YOU WILL BECOME THEIR PREY. Because you have plundered many nations, the peoples who are left will plunder you. For YOU HAVE SHED HUMAN BLOOD; YOU HAVE DESTROYED LANDS AND CITIES AND EVERYONE IN THEM.” (Habakkuk 2:6-8)
Four Woes…
“WOE TO HIM WHO BUILDS HIS HOUSE BY UNJUST GAIN, setting his nest on high to escape the clutches of ruin! YOU HAVE PLOTTED THE RUIN OF MANY PEOPLES, SHAMING YOUR OWN HOUSE AND FORFEITING YOUR LIFE. The stones of the wall will cry out, and the beams of the woodwork will echo it.” (Habakkuk 2:9-11)
“WOE TO HIM WHO BUILDS A CITY WITH BLOODSHED AND ESTABLISHES A TOWN BY INJUSTICE! Has not the LORD Almighty determined that the people’s labor is only fuel for the fire, that the nations exhaust themselves for nothing? For THE EARTH WILL BE FILLED WITH THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE GLORY OF THE LORD AS THE WATERS COVER THE SEA.” (Habakkuk 2:12-14)
“WOE TO HIM WHO GIVES DRINK TO HIS NEIGHBORS, pouring it from the wineskin till they are drunk, SO THAT HE CAN GAZE ON THEIR NAKED BODIES! You will be filled with shame instead of glory. NOW IT IS YOUR TURN! DRINK AND LET YOUR NAKEDNESS BE EXPOSED…” (Habakkuk 2:15-16)
“Of what value is an idol carved by a craftsman? Or an image that teaches lies? For THE ONE WHO MAKES IT TRUSTS IN HIS OWN CREATION; HE MAKES IDOLS THAT CANNOT SPEAK. WOE TO HIM who says to wood, ‘Come to life!’ Or to lifeless stone, ‘Wake up!’ Can it give guidance? It is covered with gold and silver; there is no breath in it.” (Habakkuk 2:18-19)
“THE LORD IS IN HIS HOLY TEMPLE; LET ALL THE EARTH BE SILENT BEFORE HIM.” (Habakkuk 2:20)
And He split the earth with Rivers…
“Were you angry with the rivers, LORD? Was your wrath against the streams? Did you rage against the sea when you rode your horses and your chariots to victory? YOU UNCOVERED YOUR BOW, YOU CALLED FOR MANY ARROWS. YOU SPLIT THE EARTH WITH RIVERS; THE MOUNTAINS SAW YOU AND WRITHED. TORRENTS OF WATER SWEPT BY; THE DEEP ROARED AND LIFTED ITS WAVES ON HIGH.” (Habakkuk 3:8-10) “SUN AND MOON STOOD STILL IN THE HEAVENS AT THE GLINT OF YOUR FLYING ARROWS, AT THE LIGHTNING OF YOUR FLASHING SPEAR. IN WRATH YOU STRODE THROUGH THE EARTH AND IN ANGER YOU THRESHED THE NATIONS. YOU CAME OUT TO DELIVER YOUR PEOPLE, TO SAVE YOUR ANOINTED ONE. You crushed the leader of the land of wickedness, you stripped him from head to foot. With his own spear you pierced his head when his warriors stormed out to scatter us, gloating as though about to devour the wretched who were in hiding. You trampled the sea with your horses, churning the great waters.” (Habakkuk 3:11-15)
“I heard and my heart pounded, my lips quivered at the sound; decay crept into my bones, and my legs trembled. Yet I will wait patiently for the day of calamity to come on the nation invading us. THOUGH THE FIG TREE DOES NOT BUD AND THERE ARE NO GRAPES ON THE VINES, THOUGH THE OLIVE CROP FAILS AND THE FIELDS PRODUCE NO FOOD, THOUGH THERE ARE NO SHEEP IN THE PEN AND NO CATTLE IN THE STALLS, YET I WILL REJOICE IN THE LORD, I WILL BE JOYFUL IN GOD MY SAVIOR. THE SOVEREIGN LORD IS MY STRENGTH…” (Habakkuk 3:16-19)
Midianites Seven Years… “THE ISRAELITES DID EVIL in the eyes of the LORD, and FOR SEVEN YEARS HE GAVE THEM INTO THE HANDS OF THE MIDIANITES. Because the power of Midian was so oppressive, the Israelites prepared shelters for themselves in mountain clefts, caves and strongholds. Whenever the Israelites planted their crops, the Midianites, Amalekites and other eastern peoples invaded the country. THEY CAMPED ON THE LAND AND RUINED THE CROPS ALL THE WAY TO GAZA AND DID NOT SPARE A LIVING THING FOR ISRAEL, NEITHER SHEEP NOR CATTLE NOR DONKEYS. THEY CAME UP WITH THEIR LIVESTOCK AND THEIR TENTS LIKE SWARMS OF LOCUSTS. It was impossible to count them or their camels; they invaded the land to ravage it.” (Judges 6:1-5)
“Gideon replied, ‘If now I have found favor in your eyes, give me a sign that it is really you talking to me.’” (Judges 6:17) “The angel of God said to him, ‘Take the meat and the unleavened bread, place them on this rock, and pour out the broth.’ And Gideon did so. Then THE ANGEL OF THE LORD TOUCHED THE MEAT AND THE UNLEAVENED BREAD WITH THE TIP OF THE STAFF THAT WAS IN HIS HAND. FIRE FLARED FROM THE ROCK, CONSUMING THE MEAT AND THE BREAD. And the angel of the LORD disappeared. When Gideon realized that it was the angel of the LORD, he exclaimed, ‘ALAS, SOVEREIGN LORD! I HAVE SEEN THE ANGEL OF THE LORD FACE TO FACE!’” (Judges 6:20-22)
“That same night the LORD said to him, ‘Take the second bull from your father’s herd, the one seven years old. TEAR DOWN YOUR FATHER’S ALTAR TO BAAL AND CUT DOWN THE ASHERAH POLE beside it. THEN BUILD A PROPER KIND OF ALTAR to the LORD your God on the top of this height. Using the wood of the Asherah pole that you cut down, offer the second bull as a burnt offering.’” (Judges 6:25-26)
“The people of the town demanded of Joash, ‘Bring out your son. He must die, because he has broken down Baal’s altar and cut down the Asherah pole beside it.’ But Joash replied to the hostile crowd around him, ‘ARE YOU GOING TO PLEAD BAAL’S CAUSE? ARE YOU TRYING TO SAVE HIM? WHOEVER FIGHTS FOR HIM SHALL BE PUT TO DEATH BY MORNING! IF BAAL REALLY IS A GOD, HE CAN DEFEND HIMSELF WHEN SOMEONE BREAKS DOWN HIS ALTAR.’” (Judges 6:30-31)
“Gideon said to God, ‘If you will save Israel by my hand as you have promised—look, I will place a wool fleece on the threshing floor. IF THERE IS DEW ONLY ON THE FLEECE AND ALL THE GROUND IS DRY, then I will know that you will save Israel by my hand, as you said.’ And THAT IS WHAT HAPPENED. Gideon rose early the next day; he squeezed the fleece and wrung out the dew—a bowlful of water. Then Gideon said to God, ‘Do not be angry with me. Let me make just one more request. Allow me one more test with the fleece, but THIS TIME MAKE THE FLEECE DRY AND LET THE GROUND BE COVERED WITH DEW.’ THAT NIGHT GOD DID SO. Only the fleece was dry; all the ground was covered with dew.” (Judges 6:36-40)
“The Midianites, the Amalekites and all the other eastern peoples had settled in the valley, THICK AS LOCUSTS. Their camels could no more be counted than the sand on the seashore.” (Judges 7:12) “When the three hundred trumpets sounded, THE LORD CAUSED THE MEN THROUGHOUT THE CAMP TO TURN ON EACH OTHER with their swords…” (Judges 7:22)
Locusts…
“When famine or plague comes to the land, or blight or mildew, locusts or grasshoppers, or when an enemy besieges them in any of their cities, whatever disaster or disease may come…” (1 Kings 8:37) “When famine or plague comes to the land, or blight or mildew, locusts or grasshoppers, or when enemies besiege them in any of their cities, whatever disaster or disease may come…” (2 Chronicles 6:28) “and when a prayer or plea is made by anyone among your people Israel…” (2 Chron 6:29) “then hear from heaven, your dwelling place…” (2 Chron 6:30)
“When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people, if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” (2 Chron 7:13-14)
“At the noise of the tumult the people fled; at the lifting up of thyself the nations were scattered. And YOUR SPOIL SHALL BE GATHERED LIKE THE GATHERING OF THE CATERPILLER: AS THE RUNNING TO AND FRO OF LOCUSTS SHALL HE RUN UPON THEM. The LORD is exalted; for he dwelleth on high: he hath filled Zion with judgment and righteousness.” (Isaiah 33:3-5)
“All thy strong holds shall be like fig trees with the firstripe figs: if they be shaken, THEY SHALL EVEN FALL INTO THE MOUTH OF THE EATER. Behold, THY PEOPLE IN THE MIDST OF THEE ARE WOMEN: THE GATES OF THY LAND SHALL BE SET WIDE OPEN UNTO THINE ENEMIES: the fire shall devour thy bars. Draw thee waters for the siege, fortify thy strong holds: go into clay, and tread the morter, make strong the brickkiln. THERE SHALL THE FIRE DEVOUR THEE; THE SWORD SHALL CUT THEE OFF, it shall eat thee up like the cankerworm: make thyself MANY AS THE CANKERWORM, make thyself MANY AS THE LOCUSTS. Thou hast multiplied thy merchants above the stars of heaven…” (Nahum 3:12-16)
“THY CROWNED ARE AS THE LOCUSTS, AND THY CAPTAINS AS THE GREAT GRASSHOPPERS, which camp in the hedges in the cold day, but when the sun ariseth they flee away, and their place is not known where they are. THY SHEPHERDS SLUMBER, O KING OF ASSYRIA: THY NOBLES SHALL DWELL IN THE DUST: thy people is scattered upon the mountains, and no man gathereth them.” (Nahum 3:17-18)
“And I WILL RESTORE TO YOU THE YEARS THAT THE LOCUST HATH EATEN, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, MY GREAT ARMY WHICH I SENT among you.” (Joel 2:25)
Never satisfied…
“…There are THREE THINGS THAT ARE NEVER SATISFIED, YEA, FOUR THINGS say not, It is enough: THE GRAVE; and THE BARREN WOMB; the EARTH THAT IS NOT FILLED WITH WATER; and the FIRE THAT SAITH NOT, IT IS ENOUGH.” (Prov 30:15-16, KJV)
This is FIRE! This is judgment! We go out and we come in, over and over and over UNTIL we are perfected! MANY generations…
“There is A GENERATION THAT CURSETH their father, and doth not bless their mother. There is A GENERATION THAT ARE PURE IN THEIR OWN EYES, and yet is not washed from their filthiness. There is A GENERATION, O HOW LOFTY ARE THEIR EYES! and their eyelids are lifted up. There is A GENERATION, WHOSE TEETH ARE AS SWORDS, and their jaw teeth as knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men.” (Proverbs 30:11-14)
Neither poverty nor riches…
“TWO THINGS have I required of thee; deny me them not before I die: REMOVE FAR FROM ME VANITY AND LIES: GIVE ME NEITHER POVERTY NOR RICHES…” (Prov 30:7-8) “LEST I BE FULL, AND DENY THEE, and say, Who is the LORD? or LEST I BE POOR, AND STEAL, and take the name of my God in vain.” (Prov 30:9)
Four things the earth cannot endure…
“There are three things that make the earth tremble—no, four it cannot endure: A SLAVE WHO BECOMES A KING, AN OVERBEARING FOOL WHO PROSPERS, A BITTER WOMAN WHO FINALLY GETS A HUSBAND, A SERVANT GIRL WHO SUPPLANTS HER MISTRESS.” (Prov 30:21-23, NLT)
Four small, wise things…
“Four things on earth are small, but they are exceedingly wise: THE ANTS are a people not strong, yet they provide their food in the summer; THE ROCK BADGERS are a people not mighty, yet they make their homes in the cliffs; THE LOCUSTS have no king, yet all of them march in rank…” (Prov 30:24-27, ESV) “THE SPIDER taketh hold with her hands, and is in kings' palaces.” (Prov 30:28)
Four that strut their stuff…
“There are three things that walk with stately stride—no, four that strut about: THE LION, king of animals, who won’t turn aside for anything, THE STRUTTING ROOSTER, THE MALE GOAT, A KING AS HE LEADS HIS ARMY.” (Prov 30:29-31, NLT)
“If thou hast done foolishly in lifting up thyself, or if thou hast thought evil, LAY THINE HAND UPON THY MOUTH.” (Prov 30:32)
NO ONE enters UNTIL the plagues have been fulfilled in his/her life…
“And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and NO MAN WAS ABLE TO ENTER INTO THE TEMPLE, TILL THE SEVEN PLAGUES OF THE SEVEN ANGELS WERE FULFILLED.” (Rev 15:8)
“And HE OPENED THE BOTTOMLESS PIT; and there arose a smoke out of the pit…” (Rev 9:2) “And THERE CAME OUT OF THE SMOKE LOCUSTS upon the earth…” (Rev 9:3)
JESUS CHRIST
“And THE KEY OF THE HOUSE OF DAVID WILL I LAY UPON HIS SHOULDER; so HE SHALL OPEN, AND NONE SHALL SHUT; AND HE SHALL SHUT, AND NONE SHALL OPEN.” (Isaiah 22:22)
“And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, These things says He who is holy, He who is true, “HE WHO HAS THE KEY OF DAVID, HE WHO OPENS AND NO ONE SHUTS, AND SHUTS AND NO ONE OPENS”…’” (Rev 3:7)
“I AM HE WHO LIVES, AND WAS DEAD, AND BEHOLD, I AM ALIVE forevermore. Amen. And I HAVE THE KEYS OF HADES AND OF DEATH.” (Rev 1:18)
“Then DEATH AND HADES WERE THROWN INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE…” (Rev 20:14)
“I pursued my enemies and overtook them; I did not turn back till they were destroyed. I crushed them so that they could not rise; they fell beneath my feet. You armed me with strength for battle; you humbled my adversaries before me. You made my enemies turn their backs in flight, and I destroyed my foes. They cried for help, but there was no one to save them—to the LORD, but he did not answer. I beat them as fine as windblown dust; I trampled them like mud in the streets. You have delivered me from the attacks of the people; you have made me the head of nations. People I did not know now serve me, foreigners cower before me; as soon as they hear of me, they obey me. They all lose heart; they come trembling from their strongholds.” (Psalm 18:37-45)
“He gives his king great victories; he shows unfailing love to his anointed, to David and to his descendants forever.” (Psalm 18:50)

“The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, PURIFIED SEVEN TIMES.” (Psalm 12:6)
